Our Business

At Tax Advice, Inc., we work with clients to produce comprehensive, yet personalized Tax Reduction Strategies so that you pay the lowest tax possible.

We are located on downtown Benicia's First Street and are locally owned and operated.

We have been in business for over 29 years and have been a Better Business Bureau Accredited business since 1994.

Our offices are located in Benicia and in San Francisco.

Who We Are

Our professional staff is led by John Lazar, Certified Financial Planner^TM, and a Board Certified Estate Planner^TM.  He received his MS Degree from the University of Southern California in Business Management, and earned an MBA in Accounting from the University of Rochester. He completed his Undergraduate studies in Economics from Case Western Reserve University, and possesses a Certified Public Accountant designation from the State of New York.  He is also a  registered tax preparer in the state of California.

John is joined by Helen Kennedy-Lazar. She is the co-founder of Tax Advice, Inc. and a  registered tax preparer in the state of California. She graduated from Southern University with a BA in Economics and a minor in Accounting.  She received her MBA from San Francisco State University
